Pencil marks demarcate location of bicuit every 6 inches between 2 planks

Installing metal plates to prevent “movement” of planks, or gaps between planks, due to humidity issues that wood will go through naturally through out the year.

Metal plates are hidden under the wood braces of the door…..

….never to be seen, but will aid in maintaining the integrity of the door over time and the wood’s exposure to fluctuation of humidity throughout the seasons every year.
